Good form and Function for those with compatible underfloor heating systems. Straightforward instructions and installation took all of 10 minutes to accomplish. Has all the bells and whistles we were looking for to support our underfloor heating project. Works well with either the display or the connected App for the highest good of all concerned.

I replaced a 10+ year old thermostat that came when the house was built. This new unit is much more energy efficient. Just need to make sure you buy all the necessary equipment to install. WARMUP's 6iE is a Smart thermostat that works with you to provide an optimal, cost-effective, and energy-efficient heating system. For use with electric underfloor heating systems and electric baseboard heat. The 6iE does not require programming and uses WARMUP's latest technologies to ensure your home is always at the desired temperature, at the right time.

This is a beautiful thermostat. Although I can show it all in pictures because I'm waiting on my electrician to finish running the electrical circuit, I wanted to let how much I'm I like this unit. Installation is pretty straight forward and I love the fact that I can control it from my phone from anywhere in the house. I will try to post more photos when the electrical is complete.

The look is modern and exudes luxury for todays smart homes, or for those who are upgrading their current home to have smart capabilities. We fit into the later as we have slowly upgraded everything in our home to be more easily controlled and monitored. This unit is top of the line in usage and build quality. You can see why they can offer a 12 year warranty.

This smart thermostat is fantastic to be able to control the heated tile floor in our master bath. It allows you to program times and days as well as control the unit straight from your cell phone through wifi. The installation was very simple, after installing the heating wire and underlayment beneath our tile floor, the wires just connect to this thermostat along with regular house power (in an approved electrical box) and you are ready to heat!

Picked up this thermostat for in floor heating in a 3 bay pole barn at my property in upstate New York. The thermostat itself looks to be made with quality material and the screen looks very clear and should be easy to read and control the unit. Looking at the installation documentation this should be straight forward and compatible with the system. And again, according to the documentation it’s compatible with the most floor heating systems. It’ll be perfect for my application as the floor is heavily insulated as well as the addition of the heating system.

We got this for the new bathroom and heated flooring. Super easy to setup, since the electrician did all the hard work. The setup is easy, plus the app is nice to set the heat. The app allows you to use automatic settings, but couldn't find a schedule feature. The actual thermostat is simple and beautiful. Connection is just a few wires and mounting is a simple task.

Important Piece of Equipment ... Not What you Think. If you have a WarmUp under floor heating system, then you already know what this is and you probably already have it. If not, then go ahead and put this in. It's a great and smart addition to your system. If you are looking at this and thinking that it's general home "smart" thermostat, then you will not want to us this. It is NOT that. It will not control your heating and cooling system. It is for the WarmUp floor system, only ... but for that, it's great.

This thermostat works automatically, learning your routines and location through background communication with your smartphone and lowers temperatures when you are away, only rising them up to your ideal comfort temperature in time for your arrival home, saving you money and energy. This can reduce your energy usage by 25%. We can turn the heating on at just the right time to be warm when scheduled - no overheating or wasted energy. Takes into account the weather forecast for warmth just when you wanted, even on cold days, and no wasted energy overheating on warm days. It has very clear directions and the hardest part was putting in the new floors.

I added some in floor heating to my workshop and used this thermostat. While I did not use the companies embedded floor systems, the thermostat seems to be working just fine with the system I chose. The thermostat is a touch screen, and provide you the ability to program specific days and conditions for your heating system. It can operate at both 110 or 220 volts, for use with a variety of systems. Connection is simple, using 2 wires to supply power to the thermostat, and 2 wires providing connection to the heating load. It also allows use of an external relay contactor for larger loads as well, and this can be set up easily using the touch screen. There is also a small temperature probe which connects to terminals on the back of the thermostat. The touch screen looks nice, and allows you to set up for a variety of flooring types, time, date, cycles, temps, and more. Upon first power up it pretty much guides you through the system setup, although you can go back and make changes later to suit your needs. The screen brightness was low when I first powered it on, but once I turned it to the maximum I was happy with it. You can also set it to a light or dark background, among other things like just showing the temperature, or going bac and forth between time and temp.

I requested this underfloor heating system thermostat for a possible install during our bathroom remodel where I was having a new 240V outlet run for a new stacking washer and dryer and complete breaker panel upgrade in the basement to support the upgrade. I figured if the heating system and thermostat were close enough to ideal, I'd go ahead with the install myself after we dismantle the chimney running through the bathroom and close up the floor. It would make for a nice change on those blizzardy winter Chicagoland mornings. For the review, I was even going to power up the thermostat to do a nice video review, but alas the instructions that come with it are vague and confusing. I should be able to match up the four wires of my 240V circuit to connect the thermostat for non-heating mode testing, but no, sadly the instructions are not clear enough for even that. Add to this the fact this unit lacks WiFi connectivity and you now have no ability to control the heating system through their app or monitor usage. They could have provided a more basic ethernet wired connection as an alternative to WiFi to enable those features.

This Smart thermostat is designed for use with electric underfloor heating systems and heated baseboards. It is compatible with 120 Volt or 240 Volt systems. It connects to WiFi and there is an app that allows you to adjust the temperature etc right from your phone. It is also Alexa compatible for voice activation. This product comes with full instillation instructions. I did not install this myself so can’t speak to how easy that was. There were no major issues when the electrician installed. Warm Up also includes instructions for setting up the Warm Up app and services. I gave this product a 4 because it is a bit complicated to me and also because it really needs the additional product/compatibility pieces which is an extra cost. Overall however,it functions well and I do recommend it.

Warmup Thermostat The thermostat seems well made and the screen is a good size given how infrequently we expect to make changes to the floor warming schedule. Mine is the horizontal format but there is also a vertical format screen. As far as the shape I am somewhat confused by the choice of size versus the need to mount this in a 2-gang electrical box with a single gang plaster ring. In a remodel situation adding new tile and floor heating this means that some drywall mud work must be done to cover part of the hole required to mount an “old work” box. One option is to add a cover plate over the 2-gang box with and make a custom cutout in the center. The electrical connections are straightforward but most people should still opt for an electrician to do the work since the heater should be on a dedicated circuit just like many appliances. This model does not include Wi-Fi and I wonder why that is even an option in this day and age since the cost of the extra electronics is minimal. This installation will involve working at the main electrical panel, which is not something most DIY folks are qualified to do. I am still trying to schedule my tile contractor and will update this review soon—hopefully in the next 2 to 3 weeks with more about the functionality. I chose to buy another sensor as a backup to be installed under the tile. At around $18 it is cheaper than tearing up tile to install a new sensor.

Smart thermostat that keeps your floor warm when you need it most. The thermostat is chrome plated and looks great mounted on the wall. This model does not require programming and somehow keeps the floor at a great temperature throughout the day. This is definitely a need for any baseboard floor heating system or underfloor heating system. The installation was straight forward, nothing tricky.

I knew I would love this Warmup thermostat for under flooring heating system in onyx black. I love the sleek design and it feels like a heavyweight quality unit. This will be great to use when I get someone out to install my heated floors, I almost have all I need for the project. The smart thermostat will look great with it’s modern sleek and digital face. The heating thermostat is easy to program, is energy saving, saving ten percent or more on energy, and has a nice three and half inch full color touch screen. This Warmup brand automatically adjusts to changing conditions in your room, home and to the seasons, no wasted energy. This also comes with a three year warranty, floor probes, operating and instructions guide. Everything you need is in the box.

Sleek and stylish, this programmable thermostat is just right for controlling heated floors. Note that this device is landscape format; not portrait as indicated in the "Full Product Manual" referenced in the H.D.product listing. (See photograph 1.) Nor is the exact Model-specific manual yet available on the Intertek or Warmup website. One must navigate through the literature for the 41E Portrait and the 41 E Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat to find a replete description. Comparable products are available in white or black; with or without Wi-Fi enhancements. The basic device directly will switch 15 Amps at 120 or 240 VAC (with GFCI protection and a self-test feature). (See photograph 2.) While NEC (National Electrical Code) Article 370-16(a) (Box Fill Table) would allow the required 8 #12 wires to be housed in a single-gang (horizontal) outlet box, save yourself the added blocking and confined space by using a double-gang deep box as recommended by the manufacturer's installation instructions. (See photograph 3.) I retrofitted a bit of foil heating membrane (QuietWarmth from H.D.) in the joist plenums underlying an apron-like area where one steps out of the shower stall. And a standalone 41E handles that. Now we are thinking of expanding that heated floor area. Multiple 41Es can be setup in a Master-Slave arrangement, but that seems cumbersome to me. My thought is to use this 41E to trip as many relays / power contactors as are required. In fact, Warmup provides item RELAY-25 for this purpose. There are some preset programs of limited use. It's quite simple to create custom programs with up to five cycles per day. The device programming features also provide for holiday overrides. Temperature sensing can be ambient or from an embedded sensor. This is a great optimizing tool for energy management with a recurrent schedule. It far surpasses the versatility of the multi-interval timer I am replacing. (See photograph 4.) For a more sophisticated approach, the W--Fi enabled version exports the 41E data to an app (Warmup's MyHeating) which permits remote programming / changes, anticipatory start-up based on anticipated arrival / use times, optimized conservation versus utility tariffs, and usage monitoring. This device improves quality of life by having that occasionally heated floor cozy even before one enters the room.

We put warming tile wiring under our bathroom floor during a remodeling job. The original thermostat was nice and programable, but the memory seems broken as after setting it goes off track in a few days. The timing could not be better and the look of this thermostat will be nice to work with and brighter than older unit. The installation will be next week and I hope the wiring is straight forward and should be another project off my list. It feels so much better when you do the job yourself.

Picked up this thermostat for in floor heating with the intention of using it in a bathroom remodel down at our Shore house. The thermostat itself looks to be made of quality screen looks very clear and installation should be pretty straightforward. From what I can tell it looks like it’s compatible with the most floor heating systems. It’ll be perfect for my application because the floor underneath it is not insulated

This is a pretty specific purchase but for anyone looking for a digital thermostat for heated floors, this is it. It is easy to install by just removing the thermostat you are trying to replace and connecting a few wires. It does not require an electrician if you know what you are doing. It is a high-end product adding that WiFi feature some are looking for with their heated floors in the bathroom.

I ordered this Warmup 6iE thermostat to replace my standard thermostat in our house atm. This thing is very sleek and looks excellent. It is a fully smart thermostat and can be connected and used through any Wi-Fi network. The display shows everything you need to know even including a weather display along with the rest of the normal thermostat display options.

Simple installation and set up!

The company assured us this was a replacement for a previous model. Unfortunately their new design was landscape style as opposed to portrait shaped so the insert did not fit into the previous hole made in the wall. We have installed it sideways so that we don’t have to tear the wall apart and install a new electric box.

Sleek design that is very easy to install. I recommend installing or re-using a double-ganged box to ease the wire management. The thermostat power and load wires are thicker than the power wires and cause a little bit of bunching. Manageable, but the double-ganged box makes it easier. I installed both temperature probes that came with the thermostat and the heating coil wire to have a backup. I love the WiFi connection and control.

Works well, but not nearly as easy as other web enabled thermostats like ecobee. Also, it barely covered the electrical box unless you use the unattractive plate that they include
