Looks fantastic. Easy to drill and install with galvanized screws.

For the most part, the quality of this decking is good. A lot of knots and some boards are wider and/or thicker than others so you have to waste time to match them up to others with the same defect. Hope it lasts a lifetime.

Shrinkage is much more than normal. Suggest separating and drying out for over a week before installing. Shrinks long ways as well. Expressed concerns to local store they suggested I contact manufacturer. Have replaced 12 boards thus far. Wish south had cedar options like Midwest. Much better wood.

Boards are not very straight with uneven edges. Can not be used tight, must be spaced to keep even rows.

I was leery of going cheaper and thinner by buying 1 5/32" instead of the more popular (but much more expensive) 5/4 boards. However, the cost difference made my mind up, and I'm very happy I chose these. In reality these are only 3/32" thinner than 5/4 board (which is nothing), they are still very sturdy and have the nice rounded edges like 5/4. My deck is 16'x22' which is 352 sq ft. That's a difference between $425 for these 16' boards or $797 ($372 more) for the 5/4. To me the choice was obvious. The Home Depot worker who helped me load these said the premium ("prime") boards go toward the 5/4 board, so these 1 5/32 ones tend to have more knots. That may be true but it wasn't that noticeable, I was looking at the stacks of each there in the store and failed to see much difference to be honest. You just have to be selective and only pick good ones with minimal knots and no cracks, like you would logically do anyway. I highly recommend these. See my pic, and you can see that these boards look great. No boards are knot-free anyway. One thing I would recommend is using 16" o.c. joist spacing, not 24". I would do that even with 5/4 but definitely with these just to have a properly sturdy deck...just my two cents there.

Had 180 of these boards delivered to resurface approx 1400 sqft of my deck. Boards ended up being terrible quality. Knot holes all the way through many boards. Wean edges, warped, unplaned surfaces. Had to return and replace more than 20% of the boards, and lost 50% of those due to terrible quality. Ended up using the best boards i could sort from the batches, and now i am very unhappy with visual appearance of the deck. I can handle knots, but knots that create voids and holes in the boards are unacceptable. Don't use this lumber if you are looking for good esthetics.

Watch for size difference in length

The boards were all straight. That is usually hard to find. The pallet was full of great boards. Worked well for a deck and we are enjoying it.

Very nice. Still drying only a little bend but put weight on them to straighten them out.

Poor quality lumber, too many knots, unable to find three clean deck boards in entire stack in the store. Took the best of the lot, but just how far has lumber quality fallen?
