I used 2"x3"x8' studs to build storage shelves for plastic...
I used 2"x3"x8' studs to build storage shelves for plastic storage tubs in the garage's bunker area.They were less than half the price of the 2"x4"x8' studs originally planned on using.I did use 2 of the 2"x4"x8' treated studs as bases for the shelves to sit on.

The wood was good for its purpose. Did notice that...
The wood was good for its purpose. Did notice that the end of each board there was around a 3/8 inch offset in it. I assume it is in the cutting process during manufacturing. It may matter to some projects but for mine it did not matter.
