Thought it would be a good air Conditioner.It spark fire out with the first rain storm.Took it back.will not buy another Whirlpool again.

It’s not what I expected. Not easy to maneuver from one mode to the next

The air conditioner is working perfectly. Only issue I have is if you purchase a specific product, that is what you should receive. The A/C I received was not the model pictured with the humidifier, even the model # sticker on the A/C was not the same. So buyer beware when purchasing a big item online because you’re not garaunteed to get what you paid for. I’m also not going to return it due to already installing it and it works perfectly fine so far (knock on wood).

Hi, we are on day 4 of running this 10K window a/c. So far so good. It is quite loud, so be expecting that. We have an older unit that uses 401 refrigerant, and it would literally shake the wall when the compressor came on. 401 requires higher pressure than the R32 that this one uses. I am a very light sleeper so I actually like the white noise this one emits. Apparently the firmware always defaults to "ECO" so I have to turn that off every time I start it up. I can't stand an a/c that shuts off by itself. Installation was pretty much normal for a window unit. Outside I have a 4 x 4 with a 2 x 6 sideways on top and some of the plastic foam packing holding up the rear end just a bit. I have found that this helps keep the vibes down a bit. It looks low rent but it does help. Nice and cold! Most important, is the design to keep humidity low. The 401 a/c blew moisture INTO our bedroom, and made the door stick as well as making the hardwood floor start buckling. Make sure you have at least 2 people present when installing in your window. I guess you could do it by yourself but I would not condone it. Hope this helps you find a good a/c, I really like this one.

Works well, remote is great, not sure what the slushing noise is when it starts. Wish it had a fin protector on the back. Just picking it up squished a few fins on the back.

Works very good. Side vents that slide in and out to adjust to you window could be sealed better but overall works well.

Very easy to install in window. For a little one it sure is a beast especially with the heat and humidity. I use an extra oscillating fan near it and it spreads delicious cool air throughout my apartment and not just in my living room. Worth it!!

It is cooling the mobile home we have for rent and we are pleased with it’s performance and great price, I have always had good performance with GE.

It's working wonderful . No loud noise , easy installment , Cools pretty quick .

My first indicator should have been the box falling apart when I took the plastic straps off of it, but everything was in there and looked perfectly fine. After installing the unit it proceeded to do nothing but blow hot air. When the condenser did kick in, it worked for about 3 seconds before going back to blowing nothing but hot air. Calling Home Depot got me sent to GE that sent me to Whirlpool, and so on. All I want is to return this and never buy an AC online again because I paid over $200 for something that barely qualifies as a fan. It's a shame I can't go less than 1 star

I haven't used it long but so far everything is great. My living room no longer feels wet when we run the AC thanks to the dehumidifier. It runs cold too! good purchase.

Best cooler worked well for a year and noticed last summer, because it's only used in the summer here, that it has lost some of the cooling element. This year when putting it in the window, it is not cooling. Will replace with a Frigidaire. Date today is May 1st 2021 face.
