I replaced my old Whirlpool Gallery Range for this model. It was the only one I found that had real cast iron grates, not steel and not porcelain coated. Mine is white. It is easy to keep clean. It works like it is supposed to work. I love it.

The oven drawer came off its track the first time it was pulled out, and now sits crookedly. Not sure how to repair it. We ordered this oven for an ADA kitchen, and other than the drawer breaking, it has met our needs. Any suggestions on how to fix the drawer will be greatly appreciated!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove came with our brand new home. It's easy to use and has ample room in the oven.

Satisfied with basic functions. Easier to clean, oven heats up faster. Burners are higher BTU than my last stove, so faster to boil, but too hot to simmer, so have to move to other burners. One feature I don't like is when using the oven and timer at the same time, the oven temperature disappears and the timer chime only goes off once. So if you're not in the vicinity and you miss the timer chime, you won't hear it again. I assume this is the norm for this price range and better features cost more.

Stove is great, the vendor you had install the stove was the problem. I admit this area does not have a large amount of natural gas customers. The first tech said that the gas leak was a Florida gas problem since it was on the other side of the local shut off, Not The Meter They insisted that I go and purchase a new shut off, and I did Florida gas came and red tagged my meter They said the problem was not there’s and ask that call the vendor back. The tech came and found that the flexible connection that goes to the stove was loose. He tightened the connection and the stove Is fine.

Oven quit working 10 days after delivery. Trying to get the issue resolved has been a nightmare.

We bought this a year and a half ago (the black one, but for some reason it's making me do a review on the white one, but that doesn't make any difference) and things were fine until about 2 months ago, well, mostly fine, the oven always ran a little on the low side, so we bought a thermometer that we kept in the oven. My wife was baking something and I smelled something burning, she look at the thermometer and it said over 600 degrees, even though she set it to about 400, ruined dinner. We thought it was a fluke or user error, even though the oven shouldn't be able to get to be 600 degrees. Fast forward to a few days ago and the same thing happened. 600 degrees and ruined dinner again. The warranty is 1 year so we are just outside of the warranty (bought it last year in February). We are afraid to use the oven because it is now a huge fire hazard. We have to get a technician to come and see if they can fix it, but with it being intermittent, it may be difficult. Either way, it's going to be expensive to fix, I expect it will be about 1/2 the original cost. I would have expected better from Whirlpool. I can assure you that I won't be getting one again.

For some reason this model stove does not convert to an LP feed (for broiler) well and we've had 2 brand new stoves with the same problem. The gas company won't hook them up because of the broiler problem. Because of the restrictions on service technicians in the home we haven't been able to confirm this until now, and the return policy timelines have passed. 2+ hrs on hold and trying to get Home Depot working with Maytag/Whirlpool for a refund...no luck so far. This may be a good stove for standard natural gas service but beware if you use LP.

The oven seems to work fine. The oven has tape marks on the black portion that left a permanent shadow right on the top between the burners. Very disappointed that we have a brand new oven with these marks on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has 2 burners that light very slowly, checked they are clean, plates installed correctly, this is a new stove. Too much gas filling burner area before it ignites. Plan on calling service on it.

Looks great. Thermostat is noisy as it maintains the temp. Oven light illuminates only the right half???But good enough for the price

I purchased this oven in January 2019, it was backordered till mid February. I have had the technician out four times sometimes being without my oven for 2 weeks at a time. Always the same issue with igniter. I will never buy another Whirlpool product. I called Whirlpool several times to ask for a replacement stove and was told that wasn't possible. Now this time no oven for the holidays, the technician is waiting for replacement parts from Whirlpool, with this going on week two again without the oven.

So far, so good! My old stove of 20+ years needed replacing and I didn’t need anything fancy like a convection oven or middle burners, so this was perfect. I really like how the light automatically comes on when the door is opened. If I could change one thing it would be either having a dial for the temperature control or being able to enter numbers instead of using up and down arrows, but for the price I can use it just fine. Happy with my purchase.

Only complaint is the oven seems to be colder then set temperature. I think it may need calibration.

Very happy with the stove after a month. Smokes and smells very bad upon first use, but instructions tell you that up front. Once the new was burned off, everything works as it should and so far I'm highly satisfied. Oven cooks wonderfully!

It's exactly what we wanted. Have had it installed for only two weeks but we are happy with it so far. As long as it doesn't leak we're good.

It is a good product I expect. I have been using Whirlpool range for more than 20 years. It is the trust that made me to purchase another gas range. I feel a peace of mind to get the same product.
