the plastic at the bottom of the drum started to fall apart after two and a half years of use. don't waste your money. look for something that has all stainless steel, so you don't worry about the plastic. ridiculous it only lasted this long for the price. replacement parts cost is over half the cost of a new one. it's all a scam.

I bought this washer 2 weeks ago and I can honestly say it’s the worse washer I’ve ever owned! It’s loud and the “sensing” is VERY sensitive. If one-side is off by one item, you will have loads of trouble. Not a happy customer for the amount of money we paid and the problems we are experiencing. We’ve owned many Whirlpool products and never really had issues, but now is a different story. Very disappointed to say the least.

Ok... I ordered my appliance in May with a delivery date of May 25, 2024. How about I JUST got my washer TWO WEEKS ago!! Where they do that (AT). They broke their delivery promise I'm breaking the English rules. Also, my neighbor ordered an appliance in January 24, how about the delivery driver PARKED HIS BIG WHITE TRUCK in my VERY EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN YARD. Home depot has always been my store BUT I should have gone somewhere else!

I was so excited when I purchased this item. I thought that I had done everything right as far as research. I even spent extra money for the color and that’s not easy for a single mom of two. Home Depot delivered my set around May 22. That same day the washer broke. I called for repair the next day and no one was able to come until June 7. Imagine how my house smelled with clothes and water stuck in the washer that long! The repair guy came and couldn’t fix it. He had to order parts and rebuild my washer and that wasn’t until June 27! I’m scared to use the washer. I can say that it’s cute but, I’m so disappointed. All I can say is GET A WARRANTY and keep it!! 2 stars is because the washer is cute.

I like all the options offered to insure your clothes come out clean. The only thing that causes it to be a 4 instead of a 5 star is that it is noisier than our last washer

I purchased The washer and dryer set in July 21’. I had no issues with either appliance until December 23’. The first issue was with the dryer, which was normal wear and tear. The washer however, began having issues in January 21’ and has been a complete headache not only for my family, but for my appliance guy since. He’s replaced so many parts that at this point, I could’ve just purchased a new washer. I am now having yet another issue with the washing machine, and have decided to trash it!

We live in a rural area where water is at a premium so the efficiency is fantastic! It gets my clothes super clean and spins them so well, my dryer usage has decreased as well. The features are amazing and so numerous that I haven’t had the chance to use them all yet! The price point was perfect and buying directly from Whirlpool turned out to be less problematic than buying from a big box store. I am so happy!!

Home Depot delivered my washer February 2024, it is beautiful, it loads a lot of clothes so that is the plus but I will say it definitely wrinkles my clothes to the point where it is hard to steam or iron out, it is very frustrating. Also the glass top completely separated from the washer. I called customer service and repair person came out today and said that it would take a few weeks to order the glass so beware of that. I would strongly suggest to buy the washer with the middle piece in it so your clothes wrap around and keep them from getting so wrinkled, even on the wrinkle cycle it still does not help enough.

I am not happy with the product. The glass lid broke and cost to replace it is what I paid for the washer. Whirlpool has been around for years and this lid breaking is a big disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for a week and am very happy with the performance and all the little extras such as the fabric brush and the water faucet. The only issue I have is the user manual only a “quick”sheet and even when i searched online the manual was geared only for installation not information on the washers features and how the best use them. Very disappointing!

Three service visits in the first 60 days and problems remain with this machine. Whirlpool steadfast in their refusal to replace it. I have spent about 12 hours on phone calls, waiting for service people to arrive and then waiting while service was conducted. So sorry I let go of my old GE machine. Problems happen and occasionally a bad product gets to a customer but Whirlpool's lack of caring for the consumer and the burden they have placed on the customer is unforgivable. They are not a quality company.

It cleans well, it’s easy to use and it looks good! I especially like the pre-treat functionality, I am getting good value for the cost, and highly recommend this machine.

I bought this machine in 2021. It has been broken more than it’s been able to be used. The first two months I have it the motherboard went that took six weeks to come in. I called the company they said that they sympathize with me, but there was nothing that they could do these things happen. And I asked her when do I get a new machine and she said it can be repaired. The machine leaks when you pull the tech out they tell you it’s not leaking. It’s not from the machine it’s from the hoses. I ran out got new hoses and it kept leaking again now it Russ around where the softener gets put the Teoh, this is where the bleach goes no. I told him that’s where the fabric softener went. He said that the company won’t do anything for Rust After the first year. It has rusted out so bad in a one year period that I got rid of the machine. Very Disgusted with this machine would never recommend it anybody but the garbage can.

Very disappointed with the washer, whirlpool overall washing machines trying to make a washing machine wash your clothes without water or very little of it and that is impossible! The load of towels I put in came out visibly dirty, and the seven flannel shirts I put in the wash the top three never even got wet until the rinse cycle let alone got any soap on them, so how did they even get clean? Not to mention the fact that the rinse cycle doesn’t work and it doesn’t rinse out the detergent which leaves too much detergent in my clothes, and makes me break out in a rash, which is never happened before with my old washing machine that I could put things in and walk away . This new washing machine from whirlpool I have to stand there and babysit it which is why I believe they put a glass lid on it so you could see what you needed to do to rectify the situation. I’ve had to wash my clothes too and three times to get the soil out of the towels, and I wear Dixon flannel shirts that are $75 each. I put seven in the wash and the top three didn’t even get soap on them and didn’t even get wet until the rinse cycle. Why would I want a boat anchor to try to wash my clothes with?

Even when selecting deep fill/bulky load it does not always fill high enough to rinse clothes sufficiently. Very disappointed in this product.

DON’T BUY! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE! ARIVED 4-22-24.IT HAS NOT WORKED SINCE I RECEIVED IT! CALLED HOME DEPOT AFTER THE 48 HRS BIG MISTAKE! THEY DO NOT CARE REFER YOU TO GE WHICH I’VE SPENT OVER 14+ HRS DEALING WITH UNSUCCESSFULLY! GE SAID THEY WILL HAVE A REPAIR MAN CALL WITHIN 48HRS TO SCHEDULE & COME FIX MY NEW WASHING MACHINE THAT HAS’NT WORKED SINCE I RECEIVED IT 17 DAYS AGO! IT SOUNDS LIKE A HAMMER JACK GOING INTO CONCRETE & HELICOPTER LANDING IN MY HOUSE WHEN RUNNING! IT’S CONSTANTLY UNBALANCED! EVERY SINGLE LOAD I’VE TRIED TO DO THEN SPIN CYCLE BINKS! I TRY TO REBALANCE WASHER AND TRY TO RUN IT THROUGH THE SPIN CYCLE THAT DOES NOT WORK IT RESTARTS WASHER FROM BEGINNING! HORRIBLY TANGLES & WRAPS CLOTHES INTO A TIGHT WAD! DOES NOT DRAIN! I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO EVEN ONE LOAD! FINALLY RECEIVED RESPONSE AT 12:51 AM WOKE ME UP THOUGHT IT WAS EMERGENCY WITH MY MOTHER. HE TEXTED IF HE COULD COME OUT THAT MORNING BETWEEN 10:30-12:00 AM. I TEXTED BACK I CAN BE AVAILABLE THE FOLLOWING DAY. HE REPLIED HE WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE THEN.I HAVE TO TAKE A DAY OFF WORK TO BE HOME. THE REPAIR MAN WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME NOW EITHER BY PHONE OR TEXT! UNBELIEVABLE! GE SAID THEY WILL SEND OUT A DIFFERENT COMPANY IN ANOTHER WEEK AND WILL GIVE ME $75 CREDIT! Unable to use the washer because of defects. I have to wait an entire month before I have another delivery. I did not have the washer more 6 hours and I report to Home Depot before 48hrs yet, I have to wait to month. Schedule delivery is 25 March 2025. Never again!!!!

I absolutely love my new washer I'm so happy I bought it

This set was delivered four days ago and we just used it for the first time. The washer is extremely loud while agitating. I guess that is what it is still called. We got the one with the impeller. It is way louder than our previous one. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. I will be reaching out and trying to return it as soon as possible.

I purchased this less than 3 years ago from Home Depot. I did not get the extended warranty because the washers typically last a few years. However, not this washer, it completely rusted under the basket and of course this is not covered by the standard warranty. Please explain that to me, a washer than less 3yrs rusted?? Rip off!!!!!!!!

I bought this along with the dryer. WORST WASHER EVER. I’ve already had repair come out on this also and I have only owned it less than a month. If you want to spend every moment ironing or steaming EVERY article do t but this. Everything is so horribly wrinkled when you take it out you could never wear it after drying. I have shown this to numerous people and they are shocked by the way the clothes are so badly wrinkled. I’ve tried every setting. I as also told by the repairman that they have had numerous complaints about the same thing. The repairman was not able to do anything and just like the dryer you can’t exchange or return it. This is awful. Will never buy a large appliance again from Home Depot and won’t buy another whirlpool item.

This machine considers a half inch of water to be “max fill” for a large load of towels. I either have to add 3-4 stock pots (like you cook crawfish in) of water to the load or my clothes have oxiclean granules all over them (there’s not enough water to even wet all of the scoop of oxiclean I add); forget using fabric softener (there’s so little water it leaves horrible splotch stains on everything) . I have no idea if the dryer works well or not because my clothes always stink (even washing on hot with oxiclean). These are brand new just installed 2 months ago. I’m incredibly disappointed.

This Whirlpool 4.8 cu. ft. White Top Load Washing Machine with Impeller and Water Faucet is fantastic. Works well with small loads and large. I can wash blankets in it as well as delicates. I really love the easy to read selection panel across the back. Pick you water temperature, spin speed, length of time to wash, whites, colors, etc. So many options. The liquid detergent drawer is simple to use and easy to reach. The top lid is see through, so you can check on your laundry as it's washing if you wish. Fantastic overall washer

I ordered the Whirlpool 4.8 cubic feet top load washer with impeller. It comes with a pretreat station which allows us to prewash with a built-in faucet. The feature allows us to soak, scrub and wash all in one spot. It's like a built-in sink. It also has the standard load dispensers for soap, bleach and fabric softener. The smooth impeller cleans the clothes gently and allows enough room for clothes to move around. It can also handle bulky items like sheets and comforters. Another neat feature is the delay start option so we can schedule it to run in advance and have the clothes washed at a designated time.

While my 1st load water is leaking out the top like really a $1000 wash machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this washer for about a month now, and I’m really happy with it. It has a lot of options to choose from for each load, has extra capacity, gets everything clean and is relatively quiet when running.

Unless water cycle is manually set to high, clothes do not even get turned over during a cycle, the surface of the clothes stay on the surface with the items not immersed but just pushed back and forth. With 36 wash options, there is no way to get a warm rinse. The washer is noisy, vibrates excessively for what is supposed to be a good machine, and the loads are consistently out of balance at the spin cycle. When a cycle is cancelled the machine drains but doesn't even spin the water out, it has to be manually set to drain/spin. Once a cycle is started, none of the settings (water level, temp, spin, etc) can be changed without cancelling, which means drain and restart the entire process again. Anytime a cycle is paused and restarted, water splashes into the tub- even during the spin cycle, so it has to drain that water before it starts spinning again. I tried to be diligent in researching and I could not be more disappointed. It is not intuitive, the instructions are sparse, the noise and vibration are not acceptable, on the auto-sensored cycles parts of items are never immersed, some pieces are heavy with water after spinning.

! year warranty up and Computer goes out one month later. I also found that the Capacitor on the bottom broke off its mount when working on it. Have to buy a new washer now after one year. Overall quality of construction of it is noticeably cheap. The fancy controls and computer are what you are paying for. Cloths don't even get that clean or sometimes even wet.
