What you see is what you get. It's a standard electrical extension cord. But what I can say is that so far it seems strong and reliable. We've mostly used it with one of our vacuum cleaners, so that we can route through all of the areas of the downstairs. The coating seems to be particularly thick, so I'm not worried about rubbing into the wiring if the cord gets caught on the edge of a door frame, etc. The receptacles are strong, and they hold the main cord tightly. That said, you don't have to fight to cram in the end of the cord from your original item or device.

This is a pretty typical 3 plug extension cord, it seems to be reasonably well built. It is a little harder to push a plug into the female end of the cord than I would like.. Other than that no problems. The circle covers over the female plugs can be turned to close off or open up the plugs, so that you can keep kids and debris out of the plug. The cord is 16 gauge, 2 prong wire, so it is suitable only for light duty indoor use. One bad thing about this style of cord is that if what you are plugging in has a transformer on the end of it's cord is that you can only plug in two things. The cord measures about 15 ft 3 inches from end to end. All in all a decent light duty cord that does what it is supposed to do.

The outlets have a spinning section that allows you to "lock" the cord so you can't plug something or more likely some one into the cord. This cord has a max amperage of 13 amps, so it is too light of a duty cord to plug really big loads into, but it is nice if you want to plug a clock and a lamp at the same time.

A well built indoor extension cord that I use for light uses in my shop. It has three plug in areas that you swing around to close them to prevent kids from sticking things into them when you are working and to keep dirt and dust out . It is 16 gauge and 13 amps that is polarized for your protection. It can handle up to three things, but you have to be careful not to trip a fuse with overuse.

The nice feature about this cord is that the plug has rotating covers, so you are able to cover the outlets that are not being used. This is a great safety feature if you have small children and it also help to keep dust and dirt out of the outlet holes.

Woods 15 foot (4.6 meters) indoor, home extension cord is a 16 gauge, 13 AMP ( 16/2 SPT-2)extension cord made for light use. It is polarized for protection. Made in China, this extension cord has 3 outlets. Each outlet separately turns from a closed to open position for safety. Great if you have little ones, and even if you don't. You can see in the photo how you just turn the outlet cover and it will move to an open position. We are using ours for a fan that is just out of reach from an outlet. We will also be using this during the holidays for lights on the tree. Not a bulky cord at all. Fits well next to the wall on the floor and under furniture without much notice of the cord. Great for in the home.

You can never have enough extension cords! I got this extension cord because I needed something temporarily for a project. The 15-foot length is great. Also what I liked the best is that the outlets have covers so I can close any of them that I'm not using. It's a great safety feature. The entire cord is one molded piece so nothing will break apart.

I have already found two things that I like about this 15 ft power cord more than any other indoor cord I own. It is very pliable, and the part that you plug other cords into has two indentations, one on each side, to hold onto while you plug in or remove cords. With arthritis in my hands, this really does make it easier. Not sure why all cord manufacturers haven't thought of this.

I usually go with a heavier gauge cord just to have more versatility with it, but for light duty indoor use this 15 foot cord will surely do the trick. Its polarized for an added measure of safety but being only two prong, its not a grounded cord. Its safety covered power tap is the twist to shield or twist to open when plugging in something to one of the three outlets on the cord If you want or need to use a cord with a ground available this one is not what you need. Its green in color which will go well with indoor Christmas lighting but of course can be used in any indoor light duty application whenever it is needed.

This extension cord has three outlets. 2 on one side and 1 one on the other. The space between the two on one side is pretty generous and we are easily able to fit two plugs the have a pretty wide base. One of my favorite features that I haven't seen on extension cords is the ability to close an outlet. This is great because it keeps the outlet clean and free of dust. Its very easy to open and close no need for tools.

15 Foot Light-Duty Extension Cord. I rated the cord as light duty cord for indoor use. If you need a cord for power tools, higher amperage devises, use a heavier cord. Use for lights, small appliances, etc. This cord can handle up to three devices. All have a rotating safety cover that can be adjusted with your finger or the end of a plug. This version is brown. The cord and all connections are polarized (one prong is larger than the other) but there is no ground lug. The base cord is fairly flexible using 16 gauge wire.

The Woods extension cord is for indoor, light duty use. There are three polarized, two pronged outlets, two on one side of the plug, one on the other (see photo). There is no ground prong. The 15 ft. cord is limited to 13 amps, 1625 watts. The outlets have rotating covers over them (see photo) so that dust and other foreign materials can be kept out of the outlets not in use. In my case that's handy, because I'm using the Woods cord to supply power to a knife sharpener in my basement shop. There's plenty of wood dust at times, so having the covers is a major plus. More substantial cord that lies flat unlike the cheapies. Some light duty cords never lose their zig zag shape after you take them out of the package, but this one is hefty enough to lie flat. All three of the outlets have the child protection covers. I find this style is easier to use than the sliding kind. Just put the prongs of the cord into the cover and turn 90° to cover or uncover the outlet. This is just a two wire cord so you are limited to items with a low draw items like lamps, clocks, very small heaters, etc.

If you're looking for a light-duty extension cord, this is a good one. The cord features a polarized plug and, so do the outlets on the plug end. Though this cord cannot be used for grounded (3 prong) plugs. The outlets have a safety feature that allows the user to turn the openings perpendicular to the outlet openings to prevent things being plugged in, accidentally and will not permit foreign debris from falling into the receptacles. This is a good cord for most, interior, household applications and will work well.

The Woods 15 ft. 16/2 Multi-Outlet (3) Extension Cord is a high quality extension cord. It is a light duty extension cord rated at 13A/125V. It is green in color and has three outlets on the end, each with a safety cover that rotates closing off the outlet when not in use. The extension cord plug is a polarized plug with one blade slightly wider than the other allowing it to fit into a standard. The insulative coating is evenly applied and appears of high quality.

The fifteen foot extension is rated as a light duty electrical extension. The copper wiring is number 16 gauge and is rated for thirteen amps. Comes in a green color which makes it ideal for an extension for a Christmas tree to blend in with the color of the tree. This is not a grounded extension but only has two plug-in spades. The plug-in cube on the opposite end has three electrical receptacles that can be isolated from from each other by rotating a shutter on each receptacles..... Made in China.

Light duty (13 amp) non grounded but polarized extension cord does a very adequate job for it's intended purpose. It is designed to to allow up to three electrical devices (such as lamps, fan, Christmas tree lights, cell phone, etc.) to be plugged up to 15 feet away form a single wall outlet. Our house has wall switched electrical outlets so I use these extension cords to control multiple lamps from one wall switch. It does not get hot with a lamp and floor fan in use. The end plug has a strain relief neck to reduce wear. Electrical appliance plugs fit very firmly and securely into all three outlets. There is a child resistant cover for unused outlets. This appears to be higher quality that others I have used. Available in both brown and green and I use both for different rooms.

This 15 foot long extension cord is very well designed for it's intended purpose. It is much less expensive that a heavier gage grounded extension cord and does a nice job for things such electric fans and lamps. In our house some of the wall outlets are wall switched so I use these to reach from that outlet to where I want our bedroom or living room lamps. With 3 outlets on the extension cord, I can control 2 lamps on one wall switch. While not grounded, it is polarized and has on outlet cover for those outlets not in use. It is also reinforced on the end to reduce wear. Plugs fit snugly into the extension cord outlet and don't tend come loose. It is rated at 13 amps.

Not much to say about this except that it performs like you'd expect it to. It's not a heavy-duty cord, so don't get it thinking you're going to plug power tools or anything like that into it, but it's great if you want to put a lamp on the other side of the room or something of that nature. The outlet end has plates in front of the plugs that you can rotate to keep dirt and anything else that shouldn't be in there out.

I love it. I use it for my leaf blower. It’s works well on patio however I should’ve chose a longer cord.
