All four Zarebas died, one after 5 months, one after 10 months, one at 13 months and the last at 15 months. Zareba replaced one under warranty and it died 4 months later.

great fence charger
Instullation was easy, with no problems have used for about a month so far and the pigs have learned to respect the fence and are not trying to escape.

Retired escape artist! !
I spent HUNDREDS of dollars trying to figure out a way to keep my 7 month old lab in our fenced back yard! She would dig under and escape..i tried shock collars, chicken wire under the fence, she even chewed that. .. but the hot wire is working! ! :) couldn't be happier! ! She visited her old escape route a few times but now doesn't even look at it! ! So glad I was able to easily install it myself! !

PEACE OF MIND
I bought this fencer for my horse pasture. The pasture is approximately 1.5 acres, divided into three sections. I am using half inch poly tape fence, connected to 8' fiberglass step in posts. The 10 mile fencer is probably overkill, but it is strong enough to send a good charge through multiple splices and fence jumper wires. I am very pleased with it.
