While modern resin outdoor statues are practical in many ways due to their lightweight nature, this feature also makes them susceptible to accidents, strong winds, and theft. A concrete base can help secure them effectively.

For small to medium statues, create a base using a container slightly larger than the statue's base, coated with cooking oil to allow easy removal. For life-sized or larger statues, dig a hole directly into the ground to form the mold. After mixing the concrete according to package instructions, pour it into the mold, ensuring a depth of at least 3 inches.

Once partially set, press the statue into the concrete so it is firmly anchored when fully dried.
