What should I bring to personalize my dorm?
Come see us for your college dorm essentials. Get storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring a tub of spackling to fill nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Make the room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Extension cords and power strips let you place lamps, microwaves, and mini refrigerators where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temps?
Make certain your home is set for summer heat by replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If water gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with mold. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?
