Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on tools, outdoor power equipment, refrigerators, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. You can shop the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
