Make certain your home is set for autumnal weather by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for damage that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
