Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?
Be certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
What kinds of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
