Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a tool sale for Father's Day?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings in-store and online at our big Father’s Day Sale, and find amazing deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run from June 4th to June 24th, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is set for summertime heat by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 7/4/2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
