Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is outdoor power equipment on sale for Spring Black Friday 2026?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden as well as outdoor power equipment, then update your grill and patio furniture so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so don't miss it.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
