How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Make certain your home is ready for springtime weather changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.
Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in June?
Stop by for the Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
