Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on shelves and storage bins?

Find Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the shed, garage, or basement. Save up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions and 20% off select storage solutions. Stow tools out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these bargains online and in-store from June 22nd through August 18th, 2026.

What college dorm essentials should I get?

We have all your college dorm essentials. Use storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new school backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Be confident your home is ready for summer heat by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with mold. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in August?

Head to our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on August 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.

Brad: An excellent Employee
We LOVE our purchase and experience over the telephone with Brad. A raise, bonus or both would be a wise decision to retain such an awesome customer service employee.

    electronic devices
Get rid of your electronic devices that your employees use like an adult pacifier!! I am tired of asking anybody there where something is located and they have no clue but automatically reach for that device when you ask them a question!! Am I supposed to just stand there and be impressed while they try to look smart scrolling to find the location in the store?!!

Great store but corporate is lost.
I've closed both accounts due to the fact that Home Depot still adheres to and follows the human rights campaign policies which harms children and goes against everything I believe in. Like the title says great store but corporate is lost.

            Shopping with Greg
My wife and I recently came into the Twin Falls Home Depot location to purchase a new stove and microwave. We eventually ended up with Greg as our sales associate. We had tried the night before to make our purchase online but was having issues with The discount going through and Greg helped us straighten everything out and make our purchase in store. Now we will only come in to shop for appliances with Greg. He was amazing and fun to work with!

              Rarely workers available to help
We frequent the Twin Falls HD and can rarely find an employee to help locate items not in their bay per the website. They aften can't assist with price discrepancy or loading help. On one occasion I had to ask random people in the parking lot to help me load 5 gallon buckets of paint because I was flatly told there were no employees to help. I have a movement disorder so lifting tasks are really difficult. That being said our most recent purchase, around 1k, the sales person was wonderful and had to jump through a bunch of hoops for the unpriced item with no assigned location. It did sustain some damage during employee loading however & we were basically told too bad.

I love Home Depot! Great employees!
I will not shop at any other home improvement retailer! I once bought something at a retailer which I wanted to return because I didn't like the quality and the other retailer would not take it back! I stick with Home Depot because the employees are amazing, helpful and friendly and I can return items I don't like at a later time without any hassle.

                    Centrally located
I was there yesterday to purchase a faux wood blind. The clerks helped me which was appreciated because I like customer service!
