How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?
Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 6/6/2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute pint-sized soccer field. Building this tiny soccer game is a great way to encourage listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
