Make certain your home is equipped for autumn cooling by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
