Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get amazing deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run online and in-store from June 4–24, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this go-kart toy. Constructing a small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on July 4th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
