We're temporarily adjusting store hours to better serve customers and communities in response to COVID-19. Please check your local store for the most current operating hours.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Not the greatest service on Appliance Sales. Watch out for cheating salespeople not giving you the advertised prices. Take a calculator. Check ALL your numbers. The SALESMAN or WOMEN IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! They are there to make money. A simple transaction has taken me 3 trips to get the advertised price And this isn't the first time this has happened at this store. This will be my LAST purchase at the GERMANTOWN STORE..

Honestly if there were any other construction store closer to me I would go there any day of the week before going to this location. I go to this location because it’s the closest to me but honestly I can probably count two times I’ve had pleasant experiences here. Let’s start with the staff most of them clearly don’t want to be there. And go out of their way to be unhelpful... i’ve literally said “excuse me” to Home Depot employees and had them ignore me and completely and walk away. You feel uncomfortable asking them for help. I’ve also had experiences where I’ve asked for help and the person has said oh yeah I’ll be right there and I can see them having a full conversation while I’m waiting and only come to help me when they see a manager Walk by and show interest (true story) My favorite thing of all is the 70% off bin! For whatever reason this store seems to have a lot of issues with that area! In the back of the store there’s a small section of Items that are defective in some way or returned that they place is the 70% off cart! When you take wood off of that cart and try to use it for a project you might want to be careful because they won’t honor it even though they put it there in the first place!! I was working on a project and I needed a bunch of lumber that were in the size of 2x3s Imagine my delight when I found an entire pile of them in the 70% off (they were warped) and I was so excited I loaded them up in my cart and took them to check out I get to the checkout and the person says oh we can’t do that here you have to go to customer service take it all the way across the customer service they tell me oh that’s a mistake it wasn’t meant to be in that bin because it doesn’t have purple markings on it. so very irritated that I just wasted so much time going all around the store and it wasn’t even on sale apparently “that was a mistake” but all the story gets better! I go back two days later and all the lumber that I had taken before now miraculously now had purple marks on it The same 2x3s!!! and it was now 70% off! Unfortunately I had a similar experience today went to the 70% off been found exactly what I was looking for went to have it cut and there was no purple marking on it so I asked the gentleman to mark it for me since I had pulled it from the bin. He said we can’t do that because I don’t see any damage on it well why was it in the bin???? so why is merchandise in the bin if it doesn’t belong there number one? number two if you know anything about customer service you should value your customers and listen to them.... furthermore if you didn’t believe me then you should check your camera footage because I got it off of the 70% off bin that’s in your store! If it’s there, which it was! You should honor the price it’s not my fault that your store neglected to put that merchandise in the right place or maybe it was in the right place you just didn’t spray it!!!! Very likely!! So now you’ve made A customer very angry and you also have to mark down Anyway, because it’s now been cut! Seems very counterproductive to me and a way to lose a good customer! but to this individual it was more important to be unapologetic and unhelpful then to honor the customer or simply review the camera footage. (Camera’s don’t lie go check it out) It’s truly sad because it’s really could be a great store and the few times that I have had excellent customer service which I think we’re grand total of two the employees were really great and nice. people like them are the reason that I have continued to try and go back there but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back after this. Do BETTER and “Nail it” more often!!!!
