Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a grill sale for Father's Day?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so start shopping now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like tool storage, tools, and outdoor power equipment, to practical gifts like riding lawn mowers, garage storage, and generators, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he's been waiting for. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 4th through June 24th, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be certain your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the July Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the 4th of July. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to hone fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing with your go-kart, so leave some time to race others!
