Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot?

It's time for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washing machines and refrigerators, outdoor living accessories like patio furniture, grills, and outdoor cooking supplies, plus outdoor power equipment to keep your landscaping and lawn pristine. Save up to 40% off select appliances and select online bathroom items. Check it out in-store or online from May 14–27, 2026.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 6/6/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a goalie game! Your little builder can put together their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
