Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage containers?

It's time to save during our Garage Storage Sale. Find great deals on storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelving. Neaten your tools within tool chests and elevate the room with sturdy garage cabinets. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions. These bargains run in-store and online from June 22–August 18 only, so shop fast.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is ready for relentless summer heat by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets in the crevices, you could be dealing with damage.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the August Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 8/1/26. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cool pint-sized rocket game. Building this small wooden spaceship is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to race your rocket into space with others!
