Be confident your home is equipped for autumnal weather by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
