Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Troy store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are a popular present for the holidays, housewarming parties, and birthdays. DIYers know they're fun to receive and to give. If you're a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Does The Home Depot Troy offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We will let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

Picking up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" email or text message to tell us in the app that you're on the way.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is usually located near the front of the store.

What a Great Experience

Was greeted by Kris at the door, who took me to find the kitchen string I wanted, only to direct me further to another "string" area. The best experience and she was GREAT!!!!

Excellent customer service

Finally, a homedepot that has representatives to assist.

The Troy Home Depot has the customer service associates.

I have gone to many Home Depot Stores, but the Troy facility at 1177 Coolidge has the best-trained staff in customer service. If time permits, I would drive out of my way to go to this store. The associates are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to serve you to the best of their ability.
