What's on sale for Spring Black Friday?
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden and outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers and mulch, then update your grill or patio furniture so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning with storage and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so shop fast.
What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
