What college dorm essentials should I get?
We've got your college dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. Bring a tub of spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, mini fridges, and microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Be certain your home is set for summer temps by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage or rust that can let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry small moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Building this wooden spaceship toy is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last.
