Does The Home Depot have a garage storage sale?
Get organized this year and enjoy more productivity. Projects are easier when you can find your tools. The Home Depot Storage Sale runs June 22–August 18 in-store and online, and you can save on storage bins, garage cabinets, garage shelving, and storage systems by your favorite brands. We've got garage storage deals on all the items you'll need for an organized garage or shed.
What should I bring to personalize my dorm?
Come see us for your college dorm essentials. Use storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring a tub of spackle to fill nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, countertop microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Be certain your home is ready for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
