You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so shop fast.
What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Be certain your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.
What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
