Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot in 2026?

Get ready for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on refrigerators and washing machines, outdoor living accessories like grills, patio furniture, and outdoor cooking supplies, plus outdoor power equipment to keep your lawn and landscaping beautiful. Save up to 40% off select online bath items and select appliances. Check it out in-store or online from May 14–27, 2026.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 6/6/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this sweet pint-sized soccer field. Building this tiny soccer game is a great way to encourage listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
