Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is set for spring temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that might let water in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water freezes inside the crevices, you could be looking at a problem.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
