Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Memorial Day sale?

Get ready for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washers and fridges, outdoor living accessories like patio furniture, outdoor cooking supplies, and grills, plus tools for all your DIY projects. Save up to 40% off select online bath items and select appliances. Check it out in-store or online between May 14th and May 27th.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is ready for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on 6/6/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
