Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run online and in-store from June 4th through 24th only, so shop fast.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for relentless summer weather by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on July 4, 2026. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized toy go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
