How long is the Garage Storage Sale?
The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From storage bins to garage bundles, we've got deals on everything you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22–August 18, and make this the year you sort out the garage and basement.
Where can I buy back-to-school supplies for my dorm?
We have all your college dorm essentials. Use moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies to sanitize the space. Bring a tub of spackle to fill nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Power strips and extension cords let you place floor lamps, microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack or underbed storage yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with useful products from your Tacoma Home Depot.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Be certain your home is set for summertime heat by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your house, examine metal roofing or roof shingles for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
