Elevate the room with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelves. What should I bring when moving into my college dorm?

We've got your dorm essentials. Get storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and be ready for residual dirt with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring spackling to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights. Make the room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Power strips and extension cords let you place lamps, microwaves, and mini fridges where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for summer temps by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

Bullied in Snohomish HOME DEPOT for two hours.
I'm building a home so there is not many choices in the community to buy building supplies. This latest visit was by far the worst bullying yet. I was 1/2 half way through placing an order for drywall and insulation when I was told to wait while she spent the next 45 minutes waiting on (3) three gentleman who just wanted to know the prices of different items. I had driven to the Snohomish HOME DEPOT so as to match tile to a specific die lot. The crew pulled down the two pallets, it matched and I purchased. Then the girl at the Pro Desk rescheduled the delivery out of another store and told me to be happy with what I get. Then she proceeded to tell me about an order for some decking material that she able to delay 45 days. She said my order would be delivered my numerous trucks too. She made me walk from the Service desk to the PRO desk back to the Service desk...redoing the order each time and said people needed to learn to not send people to the PRO desk. All in all... I'm gutted to the core.

    Great Store
They normally have what I want and the employees are helpful. One thing that impresses me is the number of handicapped people they hire. It's wonderful that this store gives handicapped people a chance. BTW, I'm not handicapped.

        Excellent help in gardening
The employee Cheryl, in the gardening dept. was very helpful and went so far as to find a plant rep. To let me purchase a beautiful plant that was being discarded. I was very grateful and was able to save the gorgeous plant and watch it grow strong. I will continue to shop at Snohomish Home Depot because of their customer service.

          Help Disappeared
Asked for help to cut a piece of carpet off of a roll. Employee didn’t have a box utter and said he would get one. He disappeared for more than 10 minutes. I obtained tools to make my own cut when he finally returned. Very annoying and poor customer service.

              Box store bargains?
Plan on parking far away, not being able to locate shopping carts and employees are hard to find also! I think they are busy hiding the shopping carts…..Hope you don’t need service or a return.

                  Wood remnants
Can't justify the money for a 24"x48" piece of 1/2" plywood for $28. $10 more I could have bought a whole sheet

Small town service in a box store
I've always had good service here. Staff seem to know their stuff, and they seem glad to be of help. I always do well shopping here.
