What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you offer moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?
Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to exercise creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on 6/6/26, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
