Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is the Memorial Day Sale?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27, 2026! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on refrigerators, tools, outdoor power equipment, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. Shop incredible deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in June?

Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
