Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?
Be confident your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at a problem.
What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
