Can I get Express Delivery through my store?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers job site supplies and products straight from your store to your doorstep. Place your order by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Your order's eligibility depends on local stock, driver availability, and item size. Set your local store online or in The Home Depot app to check availability. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes bulk orders, aerosols, and custom mixed paint). Express Delivery orders may be subject to additional delivery charges.
What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?
Be confident your home is set for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
