Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Spring Black Friday in 2026?

Our big spring sale is back, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new patio furniture or appliances, or just doing spring cleaning with new storage and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Don't forget to check out our outdoor power equipment, grill, and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Black Friday sales from April 9th through 22nd and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water seep in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
