Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is the Father's Day Sale?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on garage storage, generators, riding lawn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on everything he can't wait to receive.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is ready for relentless summer weather by replacing faulty parts of your home. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine metal roofing or shingles for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this go-kart toy. Constructing a kid-sized wooden toy with wheels is a great way to exercise listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on 7/4/2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
