Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and get amazing deals on everything from smart home gifts and ladders to garage storage and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th to 24th, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is ready for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on the 4th of July. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart. Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
