What should I bring to personalize my dorm?
Come see us for your college dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies. Bring spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang string lights and wall art. Make the room your own with wall decals and area rugs. Extension cords and power strips let you place lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head to college with helpful products from your local Home Depot.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
