Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on everything he can't wait to receive.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is set for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this toy go-kart. Constructing a small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on 7/4/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
