Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a tool sale for Father's Day?

Let your dad know you care by finding him Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at The Home Depot Father's Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from smart home gifts and outdoor power equipment to tools and appliances. You can even save up to $100 on select grills. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4th to 24th, 2026, only, so shop fast.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for summertime temperatures by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on 7/4/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a wooden go-kart! Your little builder can put together their very own go-kart craft — like the race circuit version but kid-sized. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
