Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any deals on garage storage?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got deals on everything you need for a clean and neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the summer you organize the garage, shed, and basement.

Does The Home Depot have back-to-school supplies for classrooms?

If you're a teacher shopping for back-to-school, come see us. From maintenance like office supplies and disinfecting wipes to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Writing utensils and Command hooks? Check. Hot glue sticks for glue guns? We have those, too. Find cleaning supplies, storage containers to keep it all organized, and more paper towels and tissues than you could possibly need — because you'll end up using them all. We love our teachers, so stop by to get any missing school supplies.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be confident your home is ready for summer temps by repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 8/1/26. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized rocket game. We provide the materials and you bring the creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is imagining the rocket launch, so leave some time to blast off!
