How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Be certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. If water freezes in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water seep in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you offer moving boxes?
Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
