When is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?
Start shopping for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents you'll need to make his day.
How can I prepare my home for summer?
Make certain your home is set for summer temperatures by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?
Drop by our Kids Workshop on the 4th of July, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a wooden go-kart toy! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft — like the race circuit version but kid-sized. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
