Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Spring Black Friday sale?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is better than ever. Save big on outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden, including mulch and lawn mowers, then update your patio furniture or grill so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning with storage and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so remember to shop before it ends.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
