Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental for a few hours, and bigger jobs aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any mud or dirt from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a few hours?
Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before you choose a van.
Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too.
