I recently purchased deck lumber and had it delivered. About half of the materials had to be returned due to poor quality. This isnt the usual quality I get from home depot, so not sure what happened. But upon returning the wood, the staff was polite and speedy. I went to get replacement wood so I could finish my deck and the lumber associate told me I couldn't get the good 4x4s until the junk ones were gone. I was shocked. Then he told me to go to a small lumber yard, and home depot isn't the store for me. I found this rude and appalling. I have been shopping home depot for more years than this guy was alive. I have never been treated or talked to like before in my life. I also noticed the 4x4s that I could use, after a couple days they appear to have exploded and split. Not just one but 4. photos included,

I always loved the Berlin store. My brother worked there when he left the military and the people, when I find them, are always helpful. However, the store recently acquired a cat. When I got my puppy several years ago my K9 dog trainer took me first to a Home Depot and showed me how to use the store to socialize and fine tune my dog training. It’s an EXCELLENT environment for training. No other type of store offers the challenges that Home Depot does. And, I would pick up a few things on my way out or saw things walking around that I didn’t know you had. I felt the desire to support your store more because you allowed me to do this. Now, I can’t. There is a very small sign on the door restricting dogs because you have a cat living in the store. Disappointing. Ask and successful dog trainer and they will all tell you they take their dog to stores just like yours to train them to navigate and behave in all kind of situations. Your store was pivotal to my girls success. I would be happy to discuss this more.

Needed Storm & Patio Door. The Brians (2 of them) at the Est Berlin, NJ store were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my many questions and offering many ideas.

The employee that was using the lift to retrieve the item was worthless.

An inexperienced unknowledgeable representative "assisted" me in purchasing a refrigerator that unknown to me was not able to be cancelled. The purchase was not good and I am stuck with more headaches and a charge that cannot be returned. Home Depot does not staff their store appropriately or have good customer experience.

I found my trip to buy a washing machine much less stressful than expected. Phil was a wealth of knowledge and helped me decide in less than 20 minutes! A+

Purchased wrong size air filters in April, returned and purchased new ones. Went to change in September and realized we still had wrong size air filters. Went back to Home Depot and hopefully got the right size now!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Berlin Home Depot! I was doing projects in a few areas in my home. Ethan in blinds , flooring rugs was excellent! Brian in doors closets was excellent. Brenda is kitchens was excellent! Janet the manager of these departments is a step above the rest! Sue is wonderful! Everyone made my projects run smoothly and helped me every step of the way! This is my second time around redoing things in my home through Home Depot. Thank you so much!

I'm out doing my home work on riding Mowers for next spring ,and noticed not a one had a price on it sitting outside. and lots of empty boxes with full ones behind them on shelfs. depts. are not rotating stock .With the way the world is and prices thru the roof I suggest doing a layaway program on riding mowers to help customers bring price down and to help them save interest charges for there final payment.

order garage door openers last week. never heard from them

There was no one at the Pro desk on Saturday so I was sent over to Customer Service and Ky and her supervisor. John went out of their way to help me get an order completed that had to be scheduled and delivered by a certain date.

It was nice to be able to order part from store and not be charged for shipping and handling 😀

I needed more deck screws for a deck renovation I'm doing to our decks. There were plenty in stock and they were reasonably priced.

The staff were helpful in completing my questions and transaction. The manager was ready to assist when needed.

Moved into the area a few weeks ago and visited a few times. Purchased paint, air filters, pool, and varies garden supplies. Very happy with the employees care as soon as you walk in.

I found what I needed asap by doing store layout/inside mode on cellular. Employees on phones and walk fast when ask for help! It's sad actually

Well every time I go to this Home Depot it's always good vibes all the staff are very nice and very helpful. Always making it official for me to keep this Home Depot my favorite. Keep up the great work to all the staff and management. Thank you.

Went in to buy port ac duct. No no help.

I'm in this store probably 10 to15 times a month. Everyone is always friendly and helpful

I bought 4 fans that were easy to install and operate.

The Berlin Home Depot has always had knowledgeable employees and I always find what I need. I can always count on getting an answer for a project if I’m unsure of something and how to proceed.

I bought several items for a near future project

They were nice delivery people but they were rushing the delivery.

Love that I can find everything & if not, workers are not only telling me where things are, they walk me to it! Plus, I love seeing the star of the store Twizzler!

Purchased a $2,500 lawn mower online, showed up to pick it up and they tried to load a used, rusty, broken display unit full of dirty (brown) fuel onto my trailer. The unit even had a “OFR” (Out For Repair) number written on the side. Manager didn’t try to make it right aside from refunding the order. Also overheard the manager say that they’ll “see if Tool Rental can fix it”, so they can try to sell it to another customer as a new mower instead of RTVing it. This store has lost my trust. Will make the same purchase elsewhere.

Brenda in kitchen remodeling was excellent in helping me pick out both my countertops and backsplash. Customer service was extremely courteous when making returns since I purchased one of a few different tiles to match to my newly installed countertops.

I just needed keys cut but the manager was very quick to help me and very friendly. The person who helped me was Mike CXM
